We appreciate your support as a valued member of the Madreqat product family.
Our Real Estate, School, and Accounting application has been serving clients for over 22 years. However, due to Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows XP and Visual Basic 6.0, and with Windows 10 reaching its end of life soon, maintaining our Real Estate application has become challenging.
The Madreqat Applications are built on Visual Basic 6.0 and use third-party controls that are no longer supported. The development environment on Windows XP is also obsolete. Consequently, we are unable to sustain the current setup.
After careful consideration, we have decided that all desktop application will reach its end of life on December 31, 2024. Development and licensing servers will be taken offline on that day.
Existing AMC contracts will continue until expiry after June 2024, with no renewals thereafter. No new AMC contracts will be issued for clients whose agreements expired prior to October 2023. CRESCOtec will provide technical support for active AMC customers until December 31, 2024, within the technical scope.
Please note that while your application will continue to function post this period, CRESCOtec will no longer offer support. In the event of a computer or software failure, reinstallation, reactivation, or migration to a different device will not be possible.
For existing school application clients, options include transitioning to our online EschoolME platform or choosing an alternative application. Accounting application clients can consider SAGE ERP, depending on existing customizations.
